Silent Auction

As part of our family reunion tradition, we host a Silent Auction. This gives family members the opportunity to put their talents and gifts to work and donate arts and crafts, jewelry and other creative items. Some family members may share books, electronics, framed family pictures or albums. This year we thought it would also be fun for families to come together and create themed gift baskets to donate such as games and activities for kids, going to the movies, Italian cooking, etc.

The money raised from the auction helps to offset the costs for the reunion and serves as a wonderful showcase of our talents.

    1. Normally the proceeds help cover some of the cost of the reunion. Last year after costs, we were able to give 2 $250 scholarships to upcoming family members entering college and give $300 to Eric Bond towards a grave marker for Jane Arthur. One year we gave $1,000 to Berea College in memory of James and Henry Bond. It is usually up to the host committee.
